This is not your typical Bordeaux Blend, to compare it as such is an injustice to the wine. For far too long American Wineries have tried to recreate a typical Bordeaux Blend and failed. The Blend NO. 7 is a New World style blend. A deep crimson color with aroma that is layered with dark fruit, plum, fig. On the palate the wine just explodes, it is powerful, suave, a sexy wine. Blackberry, berry, hints of tobacco, with almost a scale like balance between the elegant tannins and fruit. It is long lasting on the palate, this is a sophisticated wine.
